Customer Consultation
Have your say
Keeping your lights on has never been more complicated. Severe weather events are happening more often. The pattern of electricity generation is changing to smaller, greener units connected locally to the network. We are understanding the needs of our vulnerable customers better. Expectations about the security of electricity supply continue to rise. And concerns about rises in energy prices mean that, although the cost of moving electricity from power station to your home is only a small proportion of your electricity bill, it is important to keep it as low as possible.
During 2009, we shall be negotiating with our regulator, Ofgem, on our investment plan and level of charges for the five years to 2015. To help us decide on our priorities for our spending, we shall, over the next few months, be consulting a wide range of interested parties on our proposals. We shall be adding consultation documents to this page as we proceed. If you would like to take part in these consultations or if you have views on areas you would like us to focus our spending on, you may contact us by email by clicking here. Or write to us at: CE Electric UK Customer Consultation, Manor House, New Penshaw, Houghton le Spring, DH4 7LA.
